Michelle offers high-quality editorial services and advice to ensure polished, presentable, and readable written materials for fiction and nonfiction clients alike. She is tremendously invested in supporting writers who are typically marginalized by the publishing industry, and is therefore especially interested in works that feature characters from marginalized groups—including characters of colour, LGBTQIA+ characters, disabled characters, etc.—and #ownvoices content in particular. Because Chelle strongly believes that powerful writing is about so much more than just following grammar rules and is herself a polyglot, she loves projects that feature more languages and dialects than just "the Queen's English". She approaches helping established authors looking to fine-tune their work with just as much passion as coaching new writers intent on focusing their ideas.
